I am an academic researcher not affiliated with Palmer. Am I able to use the library?

Answer

The David D. Palmer Health Sciences Library is private and not open to the public. If a visitor is permitted on campus for a reason (e.g. homecoming, campus tour, seminar) and has already checked in at the Harold & Marie Bechtel Welcome Center, then they may be permitted to use library resources in-house. Databases and reserves are only available to Palmer students, faculty and staff.

The Archives reading room is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. by appointment for in-person quiet study of materials. Email or call 563-884-5893 to make an appointment or a reference inquiry.
