How do I use Examplify?

Examplify is the software used for taking tests at Palmer. The Davenport campus library offers 3 hour checkout of laptops and iPads with Examplify pre-installed.
Downloading Examplify:
- Ensure that your device meets minimum system requirements.
- Using your Palmer credentials, download the Examplify software.
- Within the ExamSoft portal, click to download Examplify to your device.
- Once the download is complete, install Examplify and launch the Examplify software.
- Select Palmer from the dropdown menu, and click the "next" button.
- The page will prompt you to sign in with your Palmer credentials.
- Once you are signed in, you will be able to download class exams.
Taking exams:
- Before taking the exam, remember:
- Disable the device's antivirus software to avoid technical difficulties.
- Make sure you have saved all your work and closed all other programs on your device. Any open or running files and programs will be automatically closed when the exam begins.
- Be sure to set up and enable Bluetooth connections (such as headphones or keyboards) prior to opening Examplify.
- For iPad users: Enable airplane mode and turn off Wi-Fi before beginning the exam.
- Select Palmer from the dropdown menu, and click the "Next" button.
- The page will prompt you to sign in with your Palmer credentials.
- Once you are signed in, you will be able to download class exams.
- Select the correct assessment from the available list. You may then use the blue arrow or "Download Exam" button to download the exam.
- To begin the exam, enter the Exam Password provided by your instructor.
- After entering the password, you will be asked to wait until you have been instructed to begin.
- When ready to begin, check the box next to “I am authorized to start my exam” and select the "Start Exam" button.
- Once you have answered all questions, select "Finish" in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. You will then be asked to confirm that you are ready to submit your assessment.
- For iPad users: follow the on-screen instructions to turn off Airplane Mode and reconnect to Wi-Fi. After your device reconnects to Wi-Fi, select "Next" and follow any additional on-screen prompts to upload your exam.
- Keep Examplify open until you see confirmation that the exam uploaded successfully.
- When the "Upload Complete" screen loads, you may return to the software dashboard.
